Exploring Nutrient Needs for Winter Growing

Middle and High School Virtual Field Trip

Even in the coldest season, there are so many crops grown. Some are grown in warm climates while others are grown in unconventional ways. Let’s explore the nutrient needs of our favorite juicy oranges and look at how greens can be grown without soil! We invite middle and high school classrooms to join us as we visit a citrus farm in Florida and a hydroponic shipping container garden in Ohio and learn the role fertilizer plays in some of your seasonal favorites.
